Stacy's passion for log and timber homes was sparked more than 25 years ago, when she began editing and writing for home design/décor magazines. When she's not busy reading or writing, you can find her planning the perfect trip, and spending time overseas with her family in Hungary. In her spare time, Stacy manages to teach high school and hold down the fort at her log home on Eastern Long Island, NY, where she lives with her husband, four children, one Yellow Lab, two gray cats and thirteen chickens.
